Changing tables with stairs: The back-friendly innovation.

Even little people have quite a bit of weight - something that educators feel many times a day. Daily diapering, combined with lifting the children, is hard work for the back. In order to provide relief for the caregivers, Schäfer has come up with something innovative for kindergarten changing tables.
Hidden behind a cabinet door is a pull-out staircase on which the children can safely climb up to the changing table. This is not only easy on the backs of the grown-ups, but also fun for the little ones! And when the job is done, the stairs simply disappear back into the cupboard to save space. For cramped conditions, there is a version with a spiral staircase.
